A SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER has been present through at least 7/4 just north of   Stevenson on US 72.  It is at a transmission line crossing at mile marker 160 on the newly-completed section of US 72 just north of Stevenson.  [DeLorme 21-B6]

SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHERS are nesting in Madison.  Take Intergraph Road south from the intersection with Madison Blvd. (at the railroad crossing).  At the next intersection turn left towards the golf driving course to the first large tree on the left. [Delorme 19-E6]

Six SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHERS are in the vicinity of the Alabama A&M University Experimental Station off US 431/231 and Walker Lane south of Hazel Green.  [DeLorme 19-B8]

Single LARK SPARROWS were discovered 6/18 in southwest Chilton County. One was east of US 82 on Co. 350, just east of the railroad track. The other was  on a small loop road just north of Co. 334 not far from the Autauga County line.  [DeLorme 37-H7/8]

A family of LARK SPARROWS is in the Autauga County WMA, in a field to the north of Co. 66, 0.5 miles from the
intersection with Co. 57.  [DeLorme 44-A5]

A large concentration of wading birds, including 120 WOOD STORKS, was seen 7/14-15 south of Montgomery.  They were at the catfish ponds east of US 231 just before the right turn to Trotman Road.  Please be careful when stopping on the roadside due to heavy traffic.  [DeLorme 45-F9]
