Alabama Rare Bird Report - Friday, April 2, 2004.

Migration is well underway with many species represented both on the coast and inland.  For those interested in adding  science to their coastal fallout predictions, try the Duncan Birding Forecast webpage at:  http://www.fmwaudubon.org/birdforecast.html

A RED-THROATED LOON was seen 3/27 just offshore near the Dauphin Island fishing pier. [DeAL 64-B3][BGtA p. 5]



A CAVE SWALLOW and a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW were nice finds 3/29 at Fort Morgan.  [DeAL 64-B4][BGtA p. 23]


The world famous Hummer/Bird Study Group will be banding at Fort Morgan through April 17.  Visitors are welcome!
